The party camped near the road so that they could watch bands of traveling giants. The night was uneventful. In the morning, a group of giants and ogres was spotted. Message, Ivisibility, and several Fly spells were cast in preparation.

Carric sent the mastodon, Smokey, after the giants. Carric started casting
Most of the party advanced.
Most of the giants and ogres advanced.

Carric summoned a rhino near the mastodon and party.
Carric advanced and cast Fireball on a group of ogres and a giant, dropping the ogres.
The mastodon charged a giant.
Torin joined the group, and Caelesti cast Haste on everyone (plus the rhino).
Yoshi charged the giant attacked by the mastodon.
Talon advance and summoned a giant wasp next to the giant.
Two giants threw large rocks at Carric, but both missed.

The rhino charged an ogre and gored it ... to death.
Carric cast Fireball including the last ogre and a giant, killing the ogre.
The giant in melee struck Yoshi.
The mastodon stomped the giant twice.
Torin cast a long distance CSW on Yoshi.
Caelesti flew closer to the giants.
Yoshi used a charm to move to flank the giant. He struck the giant several times, killing it.
The wasp moved to another giant and stung it.
Talon used her wand to turn invisible.
The giant struck the wasp twice with a greatclub, killing it.

The rhino charged the giant that killed the wasp, goring it. The giant dropped.
Carric cast Magic Missiles on the remaining giant.
The mastodon trampled it, but got clubbed.
The remaining giant attempted to flee, but was taken down.

The party searched the giants and found nothing of value (to them ... the giants may have found the junk valuable).

The party started to head back to the giant homestead to take advantage of the Fly spells. One the way, the party spotted a group of giants. They moved to take on the giants.

Yoshi advanced toward the giants.
Giants threw rocks at Yoshi. Two rocks hit him.
Carric cast Fireball on a group of four giants.
Talon flew forward and cast Cure Serious Wounds on Yoshi.
More rocks flew at Yoshi.

The mastodon lumbered forward.
Caelesti whispered via the Message spell that the party should bunch up for her last Haste spell.
A rock hit Talon.
When bunch up a bit more, not including everyone, Caelesti cast Haste, affecting Yoshi, Torin, Talon, and herself.

Yoshi rushed forward and swung at a giant.
Giants clubbed Yoshi.
Talon started singing an inspiring song.
Carric summoned a rhino.
Some more rocks flew toward Talon; one struck her.
Smokey advanced.
Giants surrounded Yoshi, whacking away.
A giant charged the mastodon, taking a tusk in response.

Yoshi attempted to flee, and was taken down.

Talon: So, we thought we might go to the village expected to be raided next and help them out OR lurk around waiting for the raiding party and cut them off at the pass.
Talon: So we go to the mouth of the valley and camp and heal and wait.
Caelesti: apparently y'all couldn't hear me again ... so I closed Skype ... restarting
Talon: Caelesti shares her snake with us, while we are trying to sleep.
Talon: We heal up. Sleep over night. Buff up.
Talon: Caelesti gives Yoshi extended Mage ARmor.
Talon: Morning, see Giants approaching in the far distance.

Talon: As we still have Fly spells up, Caelesti and Talon want to go back to strong hold, if we have time, and attack the guard in the tower.
Talon: We are only a mile away.
Talon: We can get there in 10 minutes.
Talon: Battle lasted around minute or two including searching the bodies.
