The party planned another foray into the giant homestead, starting at the guard tower. Caelesti cast Fly on everyone except Carric.

As the party approached the guard tower, the new giant on duty spotted the party. As he was looking around for the clapper for the gong, the party advanced.

Yoshi charged the giant; they swung at each other without connecting.
Carric started casting.

Yoshi struck at the giant several times, hitting once.
Talon uses her Chime of Harmonic Agony to damage the giant's ear drums.
The giant picked up his great club and struck Yoshi with it.
Torin cast CLW on Yoshi.
Carric completed his summoning, and three dire wolves surrounded the giant.
All three wolves bit the giant.
Caelesti cast extended Haste on Yoshi, Torin, and the dire wolves.

Yoshi struck the giant three times, and it fell.
Carric landed on the tower and leaves his eagle form.
The wolves ran down the stairs.

The party flew down the stairs following the wolves.
The wolves attacked a sleeping giant in the first room, biting the hapless giant twice.

Yoshi charged the sleeping giant on the far side of the room.
Torin fell in behind Yoshi to heal him as necessary.
The sleeping giants grabbed their clubs and attacked, missing.
The wolves attacked, taking down the giant.

Yoshi struck the giant several times, and stunned him.
Talon flew to Yoshi and cast CLW on him.
The wolves crossed the room. Two of them could get to the giant. Both bit the giant.

Yoshi struck the giant twice more.
Carric moved to the unconscious giant and attacked it.
Two wolves bit at the giant, taking it down.

Nessey's notes

Talon: Talon shows off the great belt buckle she found on the dead Giant on the roof.
Talon: Gem set gold buckle a foot across.
Talon: Her companions are impressed!
Torin: size obviously matters.
Talon: Talon asks Yoshi if he thinks the Mind Flayer or like creature is lodging in the Keep somewhere?
Talon: Yoshi says - who can tell? We have not explored the whole Keep as yet.
Talon: Caelesti - what do we do next?
Talon: Yoshi - I think we go back in the same way we did the first time.
Talon: Caelesti - what about the other side, where the doggies are.
Talon: Torin - Assess the threat - they are Dire Wolves!
Talon: Caelesti - the big wolfies.
Talon: Talon speaks of helping the villages who are soon to be raided per the map.
Talon: Yoshi says let's kill the Giants so they can not raid again.
Talon: Talon says if we do that a little at a time, they might still send out the raiding party.
Talon: Caelesti says if we distract them enough they may not want to risk going out on their raids.
Talon: Caelesti says let's go at night again.
Talon: Talon says let's leave them a keg so they will be drunk again.
Talon: And we could keep sending up monsters to the watch tower and taking out who ever is there until no one is left.
Talon: We shall Fly - and Caelesti can make us invisible too, if need be.
Talon: We have only killed 4 Giants plus a Bear so far.
Talon: And 4 Manticores.
Talon: We decide to fly in and bring our own dire wolves and weasels.
