Day 42

Yol creates and controls a spectre from the female Sanctum Defender. It has 51 HP. At midnight Yol prays for her spells. Yol creates and controls a spectre from the male Sanctum Defender. It has 57 HP.

We go to the basement of the tower and find the body of Hamadh. Yol casts raise dead on the poor wretch.

He agrees to take us to find cold iron weapons.

Tebryn and Igor go with him and an hour later return with 3 cold iron longswords.

Tebryn scries one of the spectres. Yol sends them off.

They appear at the Balor's feet. He Spots them with ease and Power Attacks the female spectre for 30 points.
The female fails to touch him (AC 15)
The male touches it and bestows two negative levels on it.

The Balor Power Attacks the female again, missing her, hitting for 32 and obliterating it, cleaving to the male and hitting for 27. He misses the male twice more. He attacks with the flaming whip, hitting for 8 and misses.
The spectre touches it again and bestows another 2 negative levels.

The Balor Power Attacks and misses, misses, misses, and misses. He whips it for 16 and hits for 9 points.
The spectre misses it.

The Balor Power Attacks and misses, misses, misses, and misses. He whips it and misses twice.
The spectre touches it again and bestows another 2 negative levels.

The Balor Power Attacks and hits for 33 points and destroys the spectre.

We buff up, longest duration first, ending with Haste and Brianna's Bardic Music.

We dimension door in.
Kress readies an action to hit it if it tries to do a spell-like ability.
Tebryn casts lower spell resistance.
Veracity casts energy drain and gives it 5 negative levels.
