Tebryn's notes

Next day, Tebryn gathers up Yol, her spectres, Hazen, Kress, and Igor and leads them to the portal in Sigil. He activates it and everybody steps through. He casts greater teleport back to the college. They go in and are greeted and Brianna and Veracity join them, and Tebryn does greater teleport back to our basement in Maerimydra. Yol breathes in deeply and a small smile appears on her face.

We prepare our spells.

We fly back to the tower. We pass through the forbiddance spell and enter the Observation Hall. We go upstairs to Khumarr's Parlor. We enter the door into the Temple Foyer. We go up the stairs and enter the Lesser Temple. We walk through and stand before the closed doors.

Yol bolsters Cabrath and Khumarr. Hazen activates his ring of blinking.

Igor opens the door. We see a passage that is blocked by a column of violet flame burning without heat. A huge still figure can dimly be glimpsed through the flame.

Everybody delays until Tebryn.

Tebryn uses his Spellcraft and identifies it as a wall of fire. He casts greater dispel magic against it (19 + 20 = 39). The wall of flame winks out and exposes the Iron Golem.

Igor activates his ring of blinking
Kress moves into the passage.
Veracity draws her bow.
Yol casts recitation
Hazen moves in, drawing his weapons.
Brianna sings an inspiring tune.

The Iron Golem steps forward and breaths a cloud of poisonous gas covering Hazen and Kress. Fortitude 37.

Hazen fails and takes 4 points of Con damage (-32 HP)
Kress fails and takes 2 points of Con Damage (-15 HP)

The Golem strikes at Hazen. It misses him, as he is ethereal at the time.

Tebryn casts haste upon his entire party.
Igor moves into the room 10 feet. He enters the poison gas and saves vs. the effect. The Golem takes the opportunity to strike him for 50 points. Igor draws his greatsword and strikes the Golem for 40 points.
Kress steps five feet and strikes the Golem for a miss, miss, hit for 28 (3 effective) and hits for 30 (5 effective). Igor takes the opportunity to hit it for 37 points.
Veracity shoots an arrow at it, doing a small amount of cold and electricity damage. She is annoyed at how little damage it does and
Hazen tries to tumble past the Golem and fails.
Brianna continues to sing.
The Golem hits Hazen for 33. He misses Hazen due to his blink.
Yol casts a spectral hand.

Tebryn delays.
Igor strikes at the Golem, missing, missing, missing, missing.
Kress strikes at the Golem, hitting for 30 points (5 effective). Igor takes the opportunity to hit for 36 points. Kress misses, hits for 30 (5 effective), and hits for 38 points (13 effective).
Veracity moves back next to Brianna.
Hazen fails to tumble past.
Brianna continues to sing.
Golem strikes Igor, missing due his blink and hits for 32 points.
Yol casts cure critical puts it on the spectral hand and sends it to touch Igor, healing him for 32 points.

Tebryn delays.
Igor strikes at the Golem, hitting for 37 points, missing, missing, missing.
Kress strikes at the Golem, hitting for 32 (7 effective). Igor takes the opportunity to hit it for 34 points. Kress hits for 34 (9 effective), misses, and hits for 37 (12 effective). Veracity talks to Brianna. Hazen tumbles past the Golem and flanks it.
Brianna continues to sing.
The Golem strikes at Kress, hitting for 27 points and hitting for 33 points.
Yol casts cure critical puts it on the spectral hand and sends it to touch Hazen, healing him for 28 points.

Tebryn delays.
Igor strikes at the Golem, missing, missing, missing, and missing.
Kress strikes at the Golem, missing, missing, missing, and missing.
Veracity talks to Brianna. Hazen bobs and weaves distractingly.
Brianna continues to sing.
The Golem strikes at Kress, hitting for 28 points and hitting for 23 points.
Yol casts cure critical puts it on the spectral hand and sends it to touch Kress, healing him for 29 points.

Tebryn delays.
Igor strikes at the Golem, hitting for 32, hitting for 29, felling it.
Kress moves back to Yol.
Hazen stops blinking and moves up to Brianna.
Brianna stops singing, pulls out her wand of neutralize poison, and uses it on Hazen.
Yol casts neutralize poison on Kress.

We cure up everybody.
