The party decided not to travel through the Fire Hills to get to Shlaizy Noithn, but instead to take the long way around. They traveled back east to the River Hass and headed north toward Poffle. At night, the party slept in Talon's Tiny Hut. Over the days, they traveled north to the fork with Cagihiggy Creek, and followed that west.

One night, while camping in the Tiny Hut, a Ghoul (Gamesman type) and a pack of zombies approached. Yoshi and Mavis were on watch. Mavis shouted an alert and shook Caelesti. Talon and Caelest both woke up. Talon started singing an encouraging song. Caelesti stood up.

Mavis charged the zombies, striking one with her rapier (the stab seemed to push through useless zombie flesh). Yoshi used his Chronocharm to race up to the same zombie, and attacked it several times, hitting 3 times. Caelesti cast Fly on herself and flew up 20' and toward the Ghoul. Talon stopped singing, stood up, and activated her Vermin Necklace. A giant wasp appeared and stung a zombie. The zombies attacked, successfully hitting Yoshi and Goldie.

Mavis backed up a step, quaffed a potion, and faded from sight. Yoshi struck three times, dropping one zombie and damaging another. Caelesti flew nearer the Ghoul and cast Charm Person on him, but he was unaffected. Talon's wasp stung a different zombie. Talon started singing again. Zombies struck back, hitting Yoshi, Goldie, and the wasp.

Mavis sneaks up, invisibly, behind the Ghoul. Yoshi struck three times, dropping another zombie. Goldie fled the battle. Caelesti cast a second Charm Person on the Ghoul, but he was unaffected. The wasp missed. The zombies struck back, dropping the wasp. The Ghoul shot energy at Caelesti, but missed.

Mavis struck the Ghoul with three sneaky strikes, severely wounding him. Yoshi struck the Ghoul as well. Talon and Tintin fled. Caelesti cast a volley of Magic Missiles at the Ghoul, killing him. The remaining zombies ceased to be animated and dropped to the ground.

Talon: We tried the direct route to Shlaizy Noithn through the fire hills and backed out. Then went north and camped some distance away.
Talon: Talon spoke to Yoshi without speaking and Yoshi smiled back.
Talon: Talon later did a Leomund's Hut for the party to sleep in comfort.

Talon: Caelesti wants to cast fly on us, but thinks the horses wouldn't use it.
Talon: We are apparentlh heading north down the plateau and along the river, near Poffle.
Talon: It takes us a few days. We camp each night in Leomund's Hut.
Talon: Leomund's Hut can be any color I choose.
Talon: I choose Fern Green.
Talon: Everyone who has to pee, can go outside the hemisphere, except Talon, who has a little portapotty behind the horses.
Talon: But Talon can't cast the Hut if she has used up 2 3rd level spells.
